Updated: Here is one variation of the layout for the Page Layout II "Mardi Gras" assignment. I have other layouts that are slightly different, but for the most part the type will be the same, depending on the layout of the illustration I get for the assignment will determine which version I use. Feedback is appreciated.
This is a great start for the page! you might need to lower the size on the header as well as the other parts on the page. Nice use of the opposite duo colors (Purple with a green circle. Just remember to delete the actual words of "Time" and "date", and try not to overpower your use of the circles with the information. The month is a bit hard to read, the empty space behind the words will make it stronger in the sense that it will make it more legible; when it would come time for public eyes to try and read the poster. Try to shoot for a update soon! great start!
ReplyDeleteNow this is Cool! Nice use of the text on top to match up with the circles behind them. The m how ever kinda threw me off as to "CM", change a section with another color and it's fixed.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the text, other than the year, is kinda hard to read with that fine text and dots behind them. Emphasize the text more and its almost there. I may think of some designs based on your text design! Kudos Napalm!
Nice! I do like the overall layout and idea. My suggestion would be to fix the "M" in Mardi for the circle behind it has a strange stroke that makes it look like there is a "C" present. Also... I would eliminate some of the circles in the detailed portion. Other than that, it really is a great layout.
ReplyDeletei like the colors you chosen to stick with although it is its original colors but you should also have more designs!!! Celebrate it!(: its great! jus need more EXPLOSIONS! BAM! WOW! ..great start(: just need designs such as masks, jokers, crowns (Pictures) and yeah the CM that has been mentioned should not be half highlighted around the "M". Nice job!
ReplyDeleteWow! The top is amazing!!! But its hard to read the bottom text because of all the color circles. Have you considered making the 2013 like the Mardi Gras design (at the top) for the bottom? Its a bit too far spaced. When i first looked at it my eyes were trying to connect the four numbers until it finally hit me Duh! 2013!
