Here are my redo/hand drawn versions of the Type on the Mardi Gras Poster. The top 4 are the Digitized and colored. The bottom 2 are the sketches I did for the Type. As you can see the top 2 are Serif and the middle 2 are San-Serif, all based off the hand drawn versions. Was actually fun designing my own type. Let me know what you think. Feedback is appreciated.
Both sets look great in color. The type at the tops G looks like a Gy mesh. Did you try making the s on the top one like the a and d? It seems more curvy then the flat bottoms of the other letters.
