Hey guys, here is 1 of 3 Logo/Icon designs. Instead of using the logo/icon designs from the previous assignment I came up with some different ones. Top is Logo/Icon seperated. Bottom is Combined. Feedback is appreciated.
The colors make it easier to see and distinguish the shapes. Did you do the color overlay on the letters on purpose? Only the icon is easy to see at 1/2 inch while the logo is impossible to see.
This looks cool with your icon, but it would be a shame if someone needed a black and white print/copy. The Logo is nice and sturdy, great for a base to hold your icon.
Aside from the colors, i would recommend using black and white for now. The colors are eye catching but the real challenge would be keeping that same level with the eye catchingness with black and white. This will be a good time to incorporate the shades of grey that coordinate with the colors. itll be intersting to see that update. the design for the icon is good, and the type suitable for the overall design.

ReplyDeleteI like this!!! It is one of the few logos that is visible at a smaller size. Although... try using this same design as black & white.
