Hey guys, here is 3 of 3 Logo/Icon designs. Instead of using the logo/icon designs from the previous assignment I came up with some different ones. Top is Logo/Icon seperated. Bottom is Combined. Feedback is appreciated.
Again the paint splatter is too random. Try making a paint splatter NP or paint splatter hand palm with white "PALM" and grey (the color of your current splatter) NA on the left of it.
The splatter looks ok, the type however is a bit on the thin side. They get lost as it gets smaller, initials could work and the splatter shape could be changed to fit in a square space but still have that organic feel. Or even maybe a square with splatters coming out of a square's boundary lines? Perhaps stacking your logo could also help with the scaling department.
Both the icon and logo could use some work. It feels like that both are fighting each other rather than flowing together. Try to incorporate something that will flow together with both icon and logo. You can continue with the organic feel of the splatter mess or you can try again but i feel that the organic environment has a lot of potential if executed correctly.

ReplyDeleteThe use of initials could be better & maybe fix the splatter so it's a little wider? But I'm liking the splatter look!
